the way is a music project and band formed by its single member and artist David Yang, based in France.

Recorded during the COVID19 pandemic, Voice and Piano: Vol. 1 was designed as the first volume of an upcoming series of EP of popular pop songs from some of our favorite artists.

This first volume also celebrates the artist's Hmong culture by including popular Hmong songs cover originally from the Hmong Canadian band SuddenRush and Hmong American artist Kristine Xiong.
